Durban Optical is an invention to solve the problems created by the crisis in eyecare and visioncare. The vast majority of the people of Africa do not have access to good quality eyecare and visioncare services and eyecare and visioncare practitioners do not have reliable partnerships with their suppliers that allow and enable them to take their services to the people en masse. Together with its partners, Durban Optical will initially focus on increasing access to eyecare, visioncare and opticalcare throughout Durban.
